The Essential Macleod

Our thin-film design software (More information...) helps you in the task of design of these narrow band-pass filters. The Essential Macleod can directly calculate important performance parameters including Transmittance and Reflectance expressed both in percent and decibels (Other units are also available) and Chromatic Dispersion Coefficient. Insertion loss, Ripple and other parameters may be easily derived.

Training

Our courses provide broad coverage of thin film design techniques, materials and manufacturing methods. You will be able to design DWDM filters, control their characteristics, and see the effects of different kinds of errors on filter performance.
